Hopefully you have read my post about registering your domain. I am adding this post to give you a few tips on how to choose a good domain name. Before you hire a web design company or an individual web designer, there a are a few things you can do yourself unless you don’t want to be bothered, in that case whoever you hire can do that for you.
So the first thing you need to know is what is your product or service so e.g. if you provide printing services, you need to use the the word printing in your domain name e.g FMRPrintingServices. If you find a domain that just has your product or service e.g printingservices.com, you have hit a jackpot but usually this is very hard unless you have found a golden niche that no one knows about yet. Anyways so my point is use a keyword related to your product or service in your domain name. This migh not benefit in the beginning becuase search engines do not give that much value to a new website but once your site is about an year old, this will help your site rank better in the search engines for the keyword you have used in the domain name.
